Extended access in six PCNs across Morecambe Bay
MBPCC currently provides over 600 hours of Enhanced Access every month, supporting six primary care networks (PCNs) across the Morecambe Bay area.

The service offers additional evening and weekend appointments delivered collaboratively across primary care networks, increasing capacity and supporting equitable access for all registered patients.
The service offers convenient access to a wide range of healthcare professionals, including GPs, Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and more. Through a coordinated approach, Enhanced Access contributes to improved patient experience, better utilisation of resources, and a more resilient primary care system.
To access these appointments, patients should contact their local registered GP practice to be referred into the service.
