Bay Lymphology Update
Work is underway to prepare the upstairs space at Bay Lymphology, Stramongate, Kendal for future use.
This follows board agreement to take on the additional floor and undertake essential works to make the space safe, secure and suitable for clinical or operational use.
Initial activity has focused on ensuring we provide a safe environment for temporary use of the space, and ensuring security arrangements meet our requirements, including for the placed IT equipment, and supporting our on site team to be able make good use of the improved amenities.
Early assessments of a future layout to meet both patient and MBPCC needs, informed by previous space planning discussions with the local PCN, are anticipated future use.
We look forward to the 1st floor being a useful temporary space, whilst the potential for redesign is explored during 2026.
Our hope is that in due course we will be able to support local practices by offering a range of clinical spaces to aid the people of Kendal and the surrounding area.
